The CNRS Foundation supports the Ministry’s “Sciences à l’École” program

The CNRS Foundation supports the ministerial “Sciences à l’École” program by offering books and subscriptions to Carnets de Sciences (Éditions du CNRS).

Sciences à l’École is a program that coordinates French preparation for the prestigious International Scientific Olympiads in Chemistry (IChO), Physics (IPhO) and Geosciences (IESO).

On May 14 and 20, representatives of Sciences à l’École, their partners and the CNRS Foundation gathered in the auditorium of the Lycée Louis-Le-Grand and at the Institut d’Astrophysique de Paris, for the award ceremonies for students selected to represent France at the next Chemistry and Physics Olympiads.

In 2021, nearly 1,500 students from the first, final and 1st year of the CGPE program contributed to France’s success and reputation. An excellent edition, with the French winning a total of 6 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and 3 honorable mentions.
