The CNRS Foundation supports the AISSAI thematic quarter “AI and digital humanities”.

The AISSAI Center’s thematic quarter on artificial intelligence and digital humanities is launched.

The main aim of the IA pour la Science et Science pour l’IA (AISSAI) center is to structure and organize cross-disciplinary actions involving all the CNRS institutes at the interface with AI.

This quarter has enabled us to the invitation of 4 scientists to CNRS units units in several French cities (Lorient, Nice, Paris):

Dr Javier Cha , (University of Hong-Kong), Dr Leonardo Impett (University of Cambridge), Dr Anna Starynska (Sacred Heart University), Dr Marieke van Erp (Digital Humanities Research Lab at the KNAW Humanities Cluster).

Several symposia and seminars organized by the guests are planned during their stay.

A school in November and a final conference in December will bring the term to a close.

Thanks to the support of Google, the CNRS Foundation is providing logistical and operational support for this international event.
