Online donations

In accordance with the law, the Foundation may be financed by donations. It should be noted that the Foundation pursues a goal of general interest and that the donations it receives enable it to achieve its statutory purpose.

The User can make an online donation to the Foundation via the “Make a donation” or “Access the donation form” tabs, or directly on the module accessible at https://fondation-cnrs.org/faire-un-don/.

Online donations are one-off and made in euros. Donations can be made in amounts of 50, 100, 200, 500 euros or any other amount.

Secure payment is made by credit card, and the service is provided by Mercanet, a service of the BNP bank, under contract with the CNRS Foundation. All banking information used to process payment is encrypted using SSL protocol. They are under no circumstances stored in the Foundation’s computer systems.

By validating the payment, the User acknowledges that he/she has the capacity to dispose of his/her money, that he/she acts freely and manifests his/her irrevocable liberal intention without seeking any consideration in return. The User is responsible for his/her decision to make a donation.

Once the payment has been validated online, the User will receive a payment confirmation e-mail at the e-mail address indicated at the time of payment. The details provided by the User are essential for the Foundation to be able to send the tax receipt.

Within 30 days, the Foundation will send an e-mail to the User confirming that the donation has been paid, so that the User can benefit from tax deductions in accordance with current laws and regulations.

The Privacy Policy also informs the User about the processing of his personal and banking data.

To facilitate transmission of the tax receipt, the User undertakes to inform the Foundation of any change of contact details in writing to the following e-mail address [contact@fondation-cnrs .org]. Failure to do so releases the Foundation from any liability concerning the transmission of the tax receipt.

This online donation differs from donations that can be made within the framework of corporate sponsorship, living donations or bequests, and for which the User can find information on the Site in the dedicated sections and from the Foundation.

For any questions, the User may contact the Foundation at the address indicated at the beginning of the contact page: https://fondation-cnrs.org/contact/.
