Émilie Stoll is a research fellow in social anthropology at the CNRS. Her research in the Brazilian Amazon lies at the intersection of Americanist anthropology (study of South American Amerindian groups), the anthropology of transmission (study of long-term migrations and the construction of ties to the land) and the anthropology of nature (perception of landscape dynamics, relationships between humans and non-humans). In partnership with the Gerda Henkel Foundation, the CNRS Foundation supports Émilie Stoll’s work.
