One Planet Polar Summit 2023

The One Planet Polar Summit, a forum bringing together the international scientific community, takes place on November 8 and 9, 2023 at the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle. For the first time, scientists from over forty glacial and polar nations will gather in Paris to share their observations with IPCC and IPBES experts, international institutions, NGOs, representatives of indigenous populations, the private sector and political leaders.

Closely involved in social and environmental issues, the CNRS Foundation is delighted to be contributing to the One Planet Polar Summit through the commitment of two of its foundations under the aegis of the Paris Peace Forum, the Fondation Albédo pour la cryosphère and the Ocean & Sustainability Foundation, which is building the International Panel for Ocean Sustainability (IPOS) initiative.
