New foundation under the aegis of the CNRS foundation: Fondation Avenir Afrique

The CNRS Foundation announces the creation of a new foundation under its aegis

The main mission of the Fondation Avenir Afrique is to promote and support a new training, research and innovation project, entitled IDBio (sustainable engineering of bio-based products).

This project has been awarded the Chaire Unesco label (2023-2026) and funding from the French PEA program “Partnerships with African Higher Education” 2023. IBDio aims to build skills through initial and continuing training, and through research, in order to develop new sectors for the valorization of renewable resources and waste, as part of a strategy of sustainable development and support for the local economy.

The foundation is headed by Carole Molina Jouve (Pr INSA Toulouse) and Pascal Loubiere (DR INRAE).

We wish this new foundation every success!
