CNRS
France’s only multidisciplinary research organisation, a key player in international research and a recognised innovator, combines excellence, freedom of research, transdisciplinarity and the valorisation of results.
The wealth of the CNRS lies in its staff and their unique ability to push back the frontiers of knowledge in all fields.

Message from Antoine Petit, President of the Foundation
Today, more than ever, with the COVID-19 crisis, society is waiting for expertise, knowledge and answers from scientists to environmental, political and demographic challenges. For 80 years, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) has been using its skills to develop knowledge in all fields.
Because the generosity of the public is an important contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the financing of free, ambitious and long-term research, the CNRS has created a foundation that enables every citizen to contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
Thank you for your contributions.
Antoine Petit
