The board of Directors
The governance of the CNRS Foundation is overseen by a Board of Directors, which defines general policy, sets strategic direction, approves budget, and validates financial statements.
The Board comprises the President and CEO of the CNRS, the CNRS Deputy Director General for Science, two staff representatives, three additional founding members, and five qualified individuals.
This composition ensures a comprehensive perspective on the scientific priorities of the founding organisation, as well as inputs from representatives of the economic and civil society sectors.

Financial Committee
The Financial Committee assists the Board of Directors in the financial management of the Foundation.
The Financial Committee is made up of 6 members including 3 personalities designated because of their expertise in the field concerned. It proposes to the Board of Directors an investment policy for the assets available to the Foundation and monitors it.
