Board of Directors

The CNRS Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, which defines general policy, sets strategic orientations, votes on budgets and approves accounts. The Board is made up of the CNRS Chairman and CEO, the CNRS Director General for Science, two staff representatives and three other founders, as well as five qualified personalities. This composition provides a view of the scientific priorities of the founding organization, as well as representatives of the business world and civil society.

Financial Committee

The Financial Committee assists the Board of Directors in the financial management of the Foundation.

The Financial Committee is made up of 6 members including 3 personalities designated because of their expertise in the field concerned. It proposes to the Board of Directors an investment policy for the assets available to the Foundation and monitors it.
