Thanks to earmarked donations, the CNRS Foundation will fund a two-year post-doctorate on climate change and the energy transition.
Thanks to several private donations received by the CNRS Foundation on the general theme of climate change and energy transition, a post-doctoral researcher is funded for two years.
His project aims to study how existingegulatory tools can be used to promote a transition to more ecological agriculturebased on the idea that restructuring farms to make them less fragmented would reduce the costs and constraints associated with farming, while promoting landscape diversity. It will focus on tools such as green land consolidation, AFAFE (aménagement foncier agricole forestier et environnemental) and amicable exchanges.
The program also aims to identify new tools in collaboration with local with local players such as farmers and water managers, to enable ongoing adaptation and anticipation of environmental issues. To achieve this, it will draw on the Armorique Workshop Zone, where studies on landscape and environmental issues have been carried out for over 20 years.
It will be led by two experts in the field: Thomas Houet, CNRS Research Directorresearch director specializing in prospective modeling at the Laboratoire Littoral, environnement, télédétection, géomatique (LETG) in Nantes, and Alexandra Langlais, CNRS research director specializing in environmental lawat the Institut de l’Ouest: Droit et Europe (IODE) in Rennes.
Thanks to the generosity of these donors, this research will contribute to a more sustainable society.
