The CNRS Gold Medal is a prestigious prize awarded each year in recognition of outstanding contributions to science. This year, the prize is awarded to Jean-Marie Tarascon, renowned chemist and professor at the Collège de France, for his pioneering work in lithium chemistry and the design of new batteries.
