CASDEN contributes to research projects with the CNRS Foundation.
CASDEN has been a partner of CNRS for many years. The CNRS puts its expertise at the service of the development of knowledge in all fields, and in 2019 will set up a Foundation to enable every citizen to contribute to the advancement of research and knowledge.
In the current context, scientists are making a particular contribution to the international effort: biologists, to understand the virus and its pathophysiology, and to envisage treatments; chemists, to discover new molecules of pharmaceutical interest and materials; human and social scientists, to analyze, among other things, the short- and medium-term consequences of containment; mathematicians, to build new predictive models; computer scientists, to analyze the available data using methods such as artificial intelligence… And these are just a few examples – all the sciences are involved.
CASDEN contributes €50,000 to FondationCNRS research projects.
“CNRS and its partners, and their joint laboratories, are fully mobilized, crossing their work, multiplying their efforts, and are determined to win the battle against COVID-19 and its impacts. The contribution of CASDEN Banque Populaire will enable us to strengthen our action”, emphasized Antoine Petit, President of the CNRS Foundation.
