The CNRS Foundation celebrates its aegis foundations
On Thursday, July 7, 2022, the CNRS Foundation organized its first “The Foundation celebrates its foundations under aegis” event to present its missions, its sheltered foundations (Rescue Ocean Foundation,Geomanum and the 2100 Foundation) and its ecosystem.
CNRS Gold Medal endowment
Starting this year, the CNRS Foundation is endowing the CNRS Gold Medal with a prize of 50,000 euros. Chemist Jean-Marie Tarascon, winner of the 2022 award, will receive the prize at a ceremony on December 14.
The Michel Seurat Prize
On Thursday May 30, 2022, at the Auditorium of the Pôles des Langues & Civilisations, the CNRS Foundation awarded the Michel Seurat Prize!

The CNRS Foundation is evolving. Over the past two years, the CNRS Foundation has set up a number of initiatives to support research, in particular foundations under aegis to support projects for society and research.
The Big Blob Record in Châteauroux
The CNRS Foundation was at the Lycée Blaise Pascal in Châteauroux on Friday June 3 for the “Big Blob Record”. More than 500 students and “blobbers” from all over France came to build the world’s longest single-cell organism: 53.9 meters.
The CNRS Foundation supports the “Sciences à l’école” program
The CNRS Foundation supports the ministerial “Sciences à l’École” program by offering books and a subscription to Carnets de Sciences (Éditions du CNRS).
