The formation of sensory organs<\/strong> is an important developmental and evolutionary issue. In regenerative medicine, too, it is important to know as precisely as possible how sensory organs are formed. The formation of ears, eyes or noses probably originates from tissue thickenings called placodes, which become these organs after processes called inductions. However, the origin of placodes, the mechanism of induction and the overall organization of the face are not understood. This article sheds crucial light on these issues. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
